Hiller's Country Market is a small, family-owned and run bulk food store and so much more, located between Ashland and Mansfield, Ohio. Our store is located on Township Road.1656 which comes off of the intersection of St. Rts. 42 & 603, S. We are located one mile up the
road on the left-hand side. You will pass a cemetery, go down a dip in the road and we are up on top of the hill.
Hiller's Country Market was opened on March 28, 2006 from a long-time dream of mine. I, Kathy, will be the person you most-likely will see when you enter the store. This is my pride-and-joy store. The store allows our family to take advantage of things we love to do. My husband, Dan, loves to farm and raise beef, our son, Josh, loves to do vegetable gardening, and I love to bake and work in my flower garden.
We take advantage of what we love by selling beef, pork, and chicken that Dan raises and produce that Josh raises in the Summer and Fall. Something special for me to do and sell is my home-made baked goods and chocolate candies. I have always loved to bake and make candy and have walked away with top awards at our local county fair. This made it only natural for me to include a full-size kitchen in my store so I could make up my own baked goods and candies. It is truly home-made! Occasionally you will find some delicious home-made fudge that my mom, Helen, makes. She can also be found behind the cash register when I need to do some running.
Also helping out at the store are our other two children, Christina and Molly. Our children are grown, but remain a big help to us. This is truly a family-run business!
At Hiller's Country Market, we strive to make you feel like you are part of our family!! Come out and see what makes Hiller's Country Market truly someplace special.
I would love to hear from anyone who has any suggestions or would like to know when I add new items to my cake decorating supplies or candy molds.
Brownie has passed away
02/19/2011
A Note to all those who knew and loved Brownie. I had to put my beloved Brownie down the morning of 2/19/11 after finding her unresponsive. After taking her to the vet, it was determined that she had internal bleeding and a huge mass on her spleen. The hardest decision I ever had to make was to let God have her back. He sent her to us the fall of 2005 and He has now brought her back home.
I LOVE YOU Brownie and will always remember you!
