CHICKEN INFORMATION
Our chickens are only sold fresh. Orders need to be placed ahead of time and we let you know when the chickens are going in for processing so you can pick them up preferrably the same day we get them back from the processor. We take them up to Shiloh for processing.
Because we have to take the chickens up to be processed, the pricing is divided into two parts. We charge $1.50 a pound. On top of the $1.50 a pound that we charge, we also have to pass along the processing fee. Their fee starts at $2.35 per bird. This is if you keep the bird whole with the neck still attached. They charge $0.25 to deneck the bird. They also charge $0.25 if you want the gizzards cleaned up and returned to you. For every cut they make, there is another $0.10 charge. It can start getting pricey if you have the bird cut up much.

Since customers have asked to see our meat price list, I have put them on the website. Please note that this was posted on 2/10/10 and should be correct. But since I am not perfect, please do not hold me to any mistakes I may have here.
I hope to update these when any prices might change, but there again, I may fail to do so immediately, so please forgive me if that is the case.
